A mandate is a one-time permission for your bank to pay your SIP instalments automatically. Registering a mandate does not debit any money by itself — it only allows future SIP instalments to be collected.
Types available
- UPI AutoPay — approve the request in your UPI app.
- NACH / eNACH — authorise it on the BSE page that opens.
One mandate, linked to the bank account in your KYC, covers all your SIPs up to the mandate amount shown in the app. You'll be asked to set one up before your first SIP, or you can do it from Profile → Mandates.
Mandate statuses
- Pending / Auth pending — the mandate is waiting for your approval. Tap “Complete auth” if shown.
- Active — the mandate is approved and SIP instalments can be collected.
- Rejected — your bank or the exchange didn't approve it. You can try registering it again.
- Cancelled or Expired — the mandate can no longer be used; register a new one for future SIPs.
Approval usually takes a few seconds for UPI AutoPay, but can take longer. To cancel a mandate, contact support.
